Replace check

I am trying to replace a check through offcycle because its more than 180 days now and it is void. But when i print the check it still shows the original check date and doesnt assign new check date . New check number is assigned but still showing old check date. I tried putting new check date when replacing the check. In history it shows the enw date when check was issued but i need to change date on the check itself. Please help.

maybe you have the anwser. if you are using SAP to print checks, verify with your ABAP person that the check form used is generating the correct field to print the check date.
