Dear all,
I get a problem while opening an attachment in an activity.
My error message is
No document display because of missing Customizing for HTTP service '/default_host/sap/bc/contentserver' -> See SAP Note 606745
But all activities for OSS note 606745 were completed.
How can I find out which method/event is used in order to display this message so that I can find out why it does not work.
In our development system I do not have a problem.
Any answer or feedback might help.

I was trying to view an attached document but always got an error: "No document display because of missing Customizing for HTTP service '/default_host/sap/bc/contentserver' -> See SAP Note 606745"
The only solution I found was external alias creation as it was mentioned before. BUT I still got an error.
To solve the problem I even change the user to dialog, but it has no effect.
Now it works, because I had signed out and signed in. I knew that there was no need in ICM restart, for example, after SICF configuration changes, but CRM Relogin is required and it was not mentioned anywhere...

Thanks A. Lavorenz
after implement the SAP notes i followed your advice and now I can open attachments.
Goto transaction SICF:
a) goto EXTERN ALIASES
b) add /default_host/sap/bc/contentserver
c )add a user with password
Very important the user must be a type "system"

The answer to my issue was that I did not have the enviornment value set
SECUDIR f:\usr\sap\SID\DVEMBMGS01\sec
hope it helps someone.

Thanks... but I already had the settings, seems to be some other issue as I can display attached URL's but not any other type of attachment.

Hi,
I have the exact same issue... were you able to resolve it? if so could you shed some light.

Dear Mr. Fernandez,
the problem in my case was that in the service the username and password needs to be set.
Goto transaction SICF:
a) goto EXTERN ALIASES
b) add /default_host/sap/bc/contentserver
It is important to add a user with password, f. i. WF-BATCH
Then the stuff works.
Best regards,
A. Lavorenz
