How to link fields from cube to R/3 table/field?

Hi, I have these PS cubes and wanted to know how to see which field in the cube is coming from what table/field in R/3.

Pretty much the exact linkage of fields from R/3 to cube.

Thanks.

Hi,

If it is LO dataSources you can see it in LBWE and click on Maintain and see the Table-Field names.

Check in Following Tables.

DataSource (= OLTP Source) - Table

ROOSOURCE Header Table for SAP BW DataSources (SAP Source System/BW System)

RODELTAM BW Delta Procedure (SAP Source System)

RSOLTPSOURCE Replication Table for DataSources in BW

Mapping - Tables

RSISOSMAP Mapping Between InfoSources and DataSources (=OLTP Sources)

RSOSFIELDMAP Mapping Between DataSource Fields and InfoObjects

Thanks

You can always refer to help.sap.com.

Right click on your InfoCube, choose display Data Flow.

From there you can see the DataSource, double click on the Data Source..

Click on the tab where you can see the source fields.

To find out a particular field, double click on the Transformation linking the InfoCube/DSO to the DataSource, from there you can trace the mapping between R/3 Source field and InfoObject in the Cube.

For 3.5, double click on transfer rules and you can see similar mappings between R/3 fields and Infoobject in Cube.

Thanks for your reply Raymond. That is exactly where I am getting stuck since I don't know how to find out what table the field is coming from in R/3. It only shows the field name but not the Table name.

Thanks.

Yeah Raymond, I already went through help.sap.com and looked at this particular one too. It doesn't tell you what the table name is though. Thanks for your suggestion.
