inhouse production time in mtl master

Hi,

What is the diff between the inhouse production time which is independant and which is dependant on the lot size in the mtl master ? When we transfer the dates from the routing/recipe scheduling which one of the two gets updated ?

Hi,

Inhouse time in material master are useful in MRP run.

When you run MRP run systems takes this inhouse time for calculate requirement dates.If you mention inhouse 5 days .In MD61if you keep requirement at 30 Apr.then after MRP run system will show you start date for planned order 25 APR.

Where timings given in routing /recipe are used for schedule the production /process order.
