Reuse Country-Specific Applications in ESS

has anybody Reused Country-Specific Applications in ESS?

(customizing node Personal management->ESS->Service-Specific Settings->Own Data->Reused Country-Specific Applications)

does business function "HCM_ESS_CI_1" need to be activated for that?

note: I did not activate the function, but the IMG step is available to me.

If you are not using CE or GE, You still need to activate these switches and follow the steps as abive to have a iview

What does this switch suppose to do? Could you please give me some inside details on this switch to get a better understanding?

Yes , I have used it, You need to activate this switch so that this can be used in the ESS with new functionality

check Business Function: HCM_ESS_CI_1

Switches: HRESS_SFWS_UI_ENH_01

1)#Resources # pointing to ess~*

2)#Country Specific Services [attached them to Resources and

grouped them into Service Group] for MOLGA 99

3)#Assigned the Services to Subarea,

4)#Assigned Subarea to Area and

5)#Area to Area Group Page,

6)#Launched Overview Page and used the Service to navigate to the

Address screen.

we are not interested in the 'new functionality' of the business function HCM_ESS_CI_1, we are not planning on using CE or GE. All we need is to Reuse Country-Specific Applications for country Libya, for which there is no country-specific Address iView.

is the activation of business function HCM_ESS_CI_1 mandatory for Reusing Country-Specific Applications?

if we are using business function HCM_ESS_CI_1 does that mean we have to configure CE and GE
