New to PLM, a few basic questions.

Hi,

I am evaluating SAP PLM and one of the things we want to know is if PLM and the Web Interface that goes with it does routings and/or quality stuff(inspection characterisics, inspection plans).

The web user interface is only for the PLM objects like DIR, material, product structure, BOM, ACC, user group creation etc., All the other objects other than the PLM objects are still processed in the back end only(classic R3). However, you can configure the iViews for the trasaction codes/custom transactions etc., to be able to view them in WUI and when you click on them you get the same R3 interface.
