Updation of Equipment Code During MIGO

Sir,

While posting reservation created through Maintenance Order, the system is not showing the equipment code in MIGO screen.

How it can be interlinked or updated.

Sir,

We donot want to add directly the equipment number. WE want that the reservation is created for an equipment, that equipment should reflect in MIGO during issue, just like order number appears.

Reservation is only created for Material, its never created for a piece of equipment.How did you manage to create a Reservation for a piece of equipment?

Hi Mudit Gupta,

In tcode MIGO you will get order number when you double click order number order will open and you can see equipment number provided you have sufficient order display authorization.

If you want equipment number in tcode MIGO then you need to use user exit MB_CF001 - MB_CF001 Customer Function Exit in the Case of Updating a Mat. Doc. Take help of your ABAP team and ask them you use this user exit.

In this u can give logic that in MIGO tcode get eqiupment number from order number and pop-up that equipment number before material document is created.

what do you mean by equipment code? If you referring to equipment number as the equipment code, no its not possible to enter a Equipment number directly in the inventory transactions,You will have to use its associated Material number / Seriall number combination if you have one.
