How could I know how much memory is allocated by Oracle

Hello

How could I know how much memory is allocated by Oracle. We are using 10.2.0.2(spfile). All memory shown in st06 (Phys mem available) .

Preferably I would like to look through DBACOCKPIT.

I assume I can memory shown in st06 spread to Oracle, extended memory, buffers(rest for os). Am I right?

However if I give all memory shown in st06 to em/initial_size_em system starts normaly (even when checked via sappfpar...). I do not understand it clearly

The memory usage of Oracle is basically defined by the parameters sga_max_size and pga_aggregate_target.

Check with strings spfile<SID>.ora the values, and you have more or less your answer.

Kind regards,

Mark
