Application has a problem - SAP CRASH

Hi,

A month before we upgraded from SAP 2005 to 2007 version for our client. after upgrade all add-ons worked fine. we had only one problem for one user defined table numbering generation problem that too resolved using some document numbering patch. after march month we created new numbering series for all documents including user defined(financial year change) . but one of our inspection add-on totally reacting in different way.

1) when ever we try to add respective inspection document or when ever we clicking respective inspection document numbering series(administration -> document numbering). it showing following error popup.

Application has a probelm.diagnostic file C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\Log\sapbusiness one _XXX.dmp was created.please contact support and attach diagnostic file. after that sap hangs. if any coding related error we can troubleshoot easily. but we are getting sap oriented issues frequently after upgrade. any suggestion will help tons.

Hi Ganesh....

.dmp error creation does not have proper reason it might be due to any problem. Might be due to customisation or addons or installation not proper or improper way of entry or hardware.

So as you are saying it has problem with the particular addon so you should upgrade the addon with the higher version or whoever is developed need to be shown.

But first whatever dmp file created in your log files first delete all those from C drive Program files Sap Log and check once again......

The problem must be Regarding inspection add on.

contact the person's from where you purchased the add on..contact development team.There may be problem regarding 2005 or 2007 dll .

Hi all,

Thanks For your suggestions.

This add-on developed by us (in house developed) . its not problem with add-on coding side.

why because we are getting error even if add-on is not connected also.

when ever we clicking respective inspection document numbering series(administration -> document numbering for UDO created) also, it showing error popup. which doesnt need add-on installed...
