Question about changing from untrusted system to trusted

Dear All,

I am running SAP application server on HP-UX now. It's the untrusted system. Now, I am planning to change it to trusted system.

But I am not sure whether this process will affect the existing application. Since it's the PRD environment, I hope I can get any experience from all of you.

Would anyone can share the valuable experience to me?

Hi,

Common error message "No authorization to log in as trusted system" you may face while Testing RFC destination after creating Trusted & Trusting Relationships.

as you may have noticed by now, there are various meanings of the word trusted.

Please elaborate!

I guess you are referring to the trusted mode of HP-UX, as mentioned in SAP Note 141921 - Activating trusted system mode on HP-UX.

Is this guess correct?

Yes,

My meaning is like this.

I found some forum said that some services are needed to be reset before using.

I afraid this impact will affect our PRD SAP application server.

I mean change the HP-UX from untrusted system to trusted system.

Since we want to get more audited log.

But we don't know any impact to hits.
