EasyDMS and MS Office integration - does it work?

HI guys,

In DMS going through the regular GUI, there is the option to create links in the MS Word document that brings in e.g. document number, description etc.

As far as I'm aware, this does not work through easyDMS - but - i'm hoping that i'm wrong. Does anybody have any information if it is possible to still bring this information in through easyDMS.

Hi Espen,

from EasyDMS point of view the transfer of document data is a bit different as in the backend as far as I know. Please see the SAP note 796807 which explains in detail this special EasyDMS functionality.

For further information please see also the note 1367514 (Registry settings) and 1273919 (restrictions - subpoint 11).

There is slight diffrence in EasyDMS transfer from backend DMS. See note 1444113 for details! I think note 796807 is not avaialble any more!

Alo for question: is possible:- yes, use property nemes:- DOCUMENTNUMBER, DOCUMENTTYPE, DOCUMENTPART, DOCUMENTVERSION
