Production Order - Order Type

Hi PP Gurus,

Is it possible to change the "Order Type" of a Production order once created(CO01)?

If possible can some one give me scenarios as to when and till what stage of the production order status this can be done.

Also what would be the ideal table in R/3 or ECC to find the data related to Production Order & Order Type. This is required for me to extract this information into BW.

Answer for question 1 is NO. It is not possible.

Hi Sandeep,

It is not possible to change the "order type" of a production order since it is created in SAP standard system.

The production order information could be found in the following tables:

AFKO Order header data PP orders

AFPO Order item

AUFK Order master data

CAUFV View "Order Headers PP/CO"

and

AFRU Order Confirmations

RESB Reservation/dependent requirements

AFVC Operation within an order
