PI/XI: "HTTP client. Code 110 reason" for XML PO transmission

PI gurus,

We use XI to convert PO IDOC to XML message and send the XML message to our vendors.

We got the error message "HTTP client. Code 110 reason" for two POs while other POs went to the same vendor successfully.

We also have no problem for sending XML POs to other vendors.

Is this error caused from the sender or the receiver and how can I fix the problem?

Hi,

Right, we have the same kind of issues with one of our suppliers, it seems to be a "temporary" (overload ? instability ? etc) at target side ... Resending the document usually solve this (we do EO, so it uses auto-retry feature in the AE) !

I did not do anything and we did not get any error any more.

My guess will be the network problem.

Thanks to all!

I monitored the transmission status and all XML POs successfully went out to vendors including the one we had problem.

I am still puzzled by the fact that most of the XML POs went out to this specific vendor OK but two of them will fail even we re-send them several times.

I will keep watching and make a update later.

How r u sending the converted XML to vendor? R u sending XML file ?

Check moni if the message has failed ?

Check the adapter engine monitoring if message has failed there.

Hi,

Below are the reasons for 110 error:

1.May be the the target server was down temporarily thats why it went to 110 error

2.Check whether SSL is correct and active in PI server
