Hi

Which QM user exits are typically required for an implementation?

Which QM user exits you consider necessary especially in a chemical industry project?

I need to consider requirement of user exits for a SAP QM project.

Hi

It depends on the business requirement of your scenario. If the standard procedures can not meet the requirement than you can consider whether you need to implement the user exits. I would not recommend you implement them if the standard programs are sufficient unless you are familiar with the user exits. (Sometimes the incorrect codings in the user exit may cause the inconsistencies. e.g. COMMIT WORK is used in user exit.)

Anyway, you can see all available user exits and BADI of QM as following.

1. Start transaction SE81

2. Expand the branch for the component you wish to search e.g QM-IM, then select the entire subtree

(F9)

3. Goto Environment >Repository Information System >Selected

Packages

4. Select the option Objects->Enhancement->

Business Add-ins or Customer exits->

Double click on the Definations or Enhancements

Input QM-IM* or other components you want to 'Application Component'.

5. Execute (F8)

Please see the titiles and documentation, I think the one related with sample drawing procedures might be used for chemicle industry.
