Installation & configuration SRM MDM Catalog 3.0

Hello Everybody

I have SRM 7.0 ABAP & SRM 7.0 Java installed with different SID's.

Can anybody please tell me step by step installation & configuration SRM MDM Catalog 3.0 ?

I have referred note 1177779 & 1177780 .

Do I need to install whole Oracle using setup.exe with different SID or just like SAP installation it will create DB while installing MDM Server?

You will need existing Oracle instance. MDM will create tables etc it needs when you install it.

I have installed MDM 7.1 SP2 and a oracle database on Windows.

While creating repository SYSTEM/SIDadm user I'm facing an error saying "unable to connect with database server".(Error retriving DBMS settings")

TNSPing <SID> is working fine.

Can someone please help me resolve this issue ?
