website not working after content management server installation

hi friends

i have downloaded and installed the cms(content management server) on windows machine. i have followed the intructions in the cms installation guide taken from service market place. But, when i try to check the website i am getting error " page not found".

i dont know where i am going wrong with this process.

i am trying the following url in my web browser

http://<host name>:<port no.>/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo

and it gives me "page not found".

i have successfully installed both the content and the cache server. now i need to do the customizing in my sap but without the website i cant move forward.

could you please tell me how to correct this error.

What version is your OS?...

In older versions of IIS you need to allow ContentServer.dll under "web service extention", also check that the site is started in IIS.

I think you missed something during post installation for CMS server.
