SNP - CTM

I am dealing with a Scenario where there is a DC, Plant & a Subcontracting vendor.

1. Version Copy is done.

2. Release of forecast (or FGI) is done only on DC.

3. Component Stock is present on the Plant.

4. Now when i run the CTM run, i dont see Pegging happening on the DC (Which i am suppose to see).

Any clue what might be the reason.

I checked the CTM profile (Master data selection 's Selection ID) i feel things are right there.

Q. Can inappropriate T-Lanes be the reason for this?

Best regards,

Mayur

Hi Mayur,

Check the following things

1) Check Product master whether pegging relevant settings

are maintained

2) Check the t-lane as you have mentioned

3) Check the PPM data for the location product whether

all data are maintained (confirm by consistency check) - if

it is inhouse production

4) Check purchase records if it is externall procured item

5) Check integration models are active for relevant master

and transactional data.

6) Check the package size for creating pegging relations in

CTM Global settings

One more point to be mentioned. When the forecast release happened on the Plant itself then the pegging was perfect but thats not the ideal scenario. The forecast should be released to the DC & Pegging should happen. Will this point help us in ruling out any potential probabilities?

Dear Mayur,

Please check the CTM profile -strategies tab the pegging type you have selected and the check the evaluations after the run , the last step create order it will show the number of the pegging lanes created.

check the SNP planning table , you will the PR' s created ..

and then check the product view , pegging overview tab .

Please check and confirm.

Mayur,

From what i understand here,

You have a demand forecast at the DC.

Stock at the Plant.

Now from what you have mentioned

i dont see Pegging happening on the DC

I assume you are able to see the fulfilment happening with the available stock at the plant level. If this understanding is correct then Transportation Lane cannot be a problem, because then the requirement is not passed down to the Plant from DC. (Refer to your PPM or PDS).

If that is not the case and you see no planning, then Transportation lane is a potential problem here. Also check your PPM or PDS to see how the BOM and routings are setup.

Hope this helps.

Thanks
