Hi,
I have a table control (which is bound to context node NODE1) in my WDA view with an editable column.
e.g.
col1 -- col2 -- col3 (editable) -- col4
row1
row2
row3
row4
Now, when the user enters those 4 values for col3, i want to read them inside my program. I am only aware of 1 method i.e. get_element() and this returns only one record / row from the table control.
I saw a method called as get_elements(), but I am not sure about it. Can anyone tell me if it can solve my purpose? If yes, please let me know a sample code for how to use this method ( i mean, this method must be returning the values. what should be the data type of the variable / structure to hold those values).
If this method is not useful, then please suggest other suitable method.
Thank you.
HI,
Get_ELEMENTS( ) can solve your purpose as it will list all elements, for its usage I would recommend just do a where used list of this method and you will get plenty of examples( Where Used List is the best way to explore ).
Otherwiese you can also use method get_static_attributes_table of interface if_wd_context_node to get all the table data in an internal table format. For this just go to the context wizard (Guess CTRL + F7 is shortcut ) and select your node, select read and at bottom selection option for table operation. It will generate the code for you.
Hope this helps.
