Fixed assets from FI to BW

Hi Guys,

I know it is general question. I am new to BW.

I would like to ask if anyone could give me a hint how to extract from FI assets master data to BW on daily basis. Which method I should use (if any guide is available).

I would like to export all necessary data (master data, acquisitions, depreciation, retirements ...)

In BW I would like to use standard content for Fixed assets.

All recommendations/comments are highly appreciated.

Please take a look at the Business Content documentation available in SAP help, here is the link:

Note that the 0FIAA_C01, 0FIAA_C02, 0FIAA_C03, 0FIAA_C04, 0FIAA_C05 and 0FIAA_C06 Cubes are obsolete now so you should work with the following DSOs and Cubes instead:

DSO 0FIA_DS11 and Cube 0FIAA_C11 - Transactions (Delta)

DSO 0FIA_DS12 and Cube 0FIAA_C12 - Anual Values (Delta)

DSO 0FIA_DS13 and Cube 0FIAA_C13 - Period Values (Delta)

The 2 DataSources that extract the data for the 3 Cubes above are 0FI_AA_11 and 0FI_AA_12.

For Master Data (Texts and Attributes) you should activate the following DataSources:

0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR Depreciation Area Real or De

0ASSET_AFAB_TEXT Depreciation area real or de

0ASSET_ATTR_TEXT Asset Subnumber with Descrip

0ASSET_CLAS_TEXT Asset Class

0ASSET_MAIN_TEXT Main Asset Number

0DEPRAREA_TEXT Depreciation area real or de

0DEPRARTYPE_TEXT Standardization of Deprec. A

0DEPREC_KEY_TEXT Depreciation key (external)

0EVALGROUP1_TEXT Evaluation Group 1

0EVALGROUP2_TEXT Evaluation Group 2

0EVALGROUP3_TEXT Sort Key 3

0EVALGROUP4_TEXT Sort Key 4

0EVALGROUP5_TEXT Sort Key 5

0SHEET_GRP_TEXT Summariz. of trans. types fo

0TRANSTYPE_ATTR Asset Transaction Type

0TRANSTYPE_TEXT Asset transaction type

Also note that the DataSource 0ASSET_ATTR_TEXT replaces both 0ASSET_ATTR and 0ASSET_TEXT.

Activate 0ASSET_ATTR_TEXT, 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR, 0ASSET_AFAB_TEXT datasources in R/3 side and load them to 0ASSET, 0ASSET_AFAB and 0ASSET_AFAB respectively in BW side.
