Material is not defined for sales org, distr.chan, language EN

Hi,

In modication request after entering the material no.it shows the following message.

Material 19094 is not defined for sales org.1000, distr.chan.10, language EN. how to check the material is extended to sales organization in mm02.

Hi,

You can extend the material in MM01 for sales views.

-> select the desired views and extend them for reqd sales area.

-> if it sayz its already extended for this view and sales data . then its understood.

and in Additional data tab:

-> maintain the text in DE nad EN both.

Check if this works for you.

in mm02 choose aditional data and description.

here maintain language and meterial description in the same language.

like if you create SERVICE then choose language DE and description DIENST.

save the data.

hope your problem has solved now.

Hi,

Table MVKE an be used to get the details whether material will be extended for an sales org.

You can also go to mm02 and then press upon F4 button at sales organization field, this will display an list of sales org againt material already extended.
