Problems connecting SAP@WEB 6.20 to R/3

Hello,

we're students from Germany, trying to build up a webshop using ITS 6.2; we've managed to install the IAC package with the webshop template, but now we have trouble customizing it.

We're trying to use SAP@WEB Studio 6.2, but we're getting the following error when trying to connect to the repository telling us that a function block called "IAC_OBJECT_INFO" cannot be called remotly. (original error message in german: "SCC_40A.SCC_40A.1 Der Funktionsbaustein "IAC_OBJECT_INFO" ist nicht 'remote' aufrufbar.")

any thoughts?

hi again,

we're using SAP ERP Central Component 5.0 in combination with SAP_ABA / SAP_BASIS 6.40

meanwhile, we've found out that the function block mentioned above cannot be called remotely although this was the case in earlyer releases ... i guess only SAP knows why they changed this.

What we're now looking for is either a workaround for this problem or a way to run our webshop (ww20) on the integrated Web AS 6.40; Any hints for those issues are most welcome!

Hi,

probably because with 6.40 the legacy SAP@webstudio is no longer supported (SAP note 829310). Please use Web Application Builder from SE80 instead.
