Interface without ESR Objects

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement to pick up a CSV file from SAP then send it to the receiver system.

Is this possible without any ESR Objects?

How can PI pick up the CSV file and then send it to the receiver system with the same FILENAME?

There is a blog by William on this topic refer it.

File with same name......check the ASMA character File Name in both your Sender and receiver Channel.....no need of mapping in this case....for second requirement Michal has a blog.

In Michal's blog, the "The same filename from a sender to a receiver file adapter - SP14" has a message mapping. In my case, i'm not going to use any message mapping.

Can I still achieve this even without the mapping?

The message mapping used a UDF which took the file name from source file and then populated this name in a target field....and hence the mapping was used.......if you have file at source and target and you want source and target file name to be the same then just check the ASMA characters....no mapping is needed....may be you can try for yourself and confirm back.
