Hi .

I am working on a resignation application which is having 2 level GP approval . After creating a resignation request by

an Employee when reporting manager is going to approve the request at that time I am getting this message

The next activity is not yet available: try again later using the "Refresh" button

Can you please suggess me why I am getting this message,and how I can resilved this problem.

Actually when I refreshing this is not taking any action.

may be reason is server is slow.

But how we will explain to client.

Hi,

In the GP process that you have created on Portal, check if the target of the Approver Action is set to terminal rather than no target to terminate the GP Process on call of

processingComplete()

method.

Sorry For late reply.

Actually earlier i was using the terminal as target for rejection.

But after rejection for first level also It was going to next level for approval.

thats why I have givel external block to terminate as terminal.

Can u tell me why after rejection also it was going to next action.

Hi,

Could you please check result set values you have set in the action and check the value for the reject button and set the value to terminal. I have tried the same scenario and it is working fine for me.

Deepak this problem started after patch applied on portal.

Please help me how I can solve this problem.

I tried by keeping target as terminal but still problem is there..

Abhishesk,

I am not sure why the flow moves from rejection to any other action although you have set terminal as the target for your action in the block. It shouldn't be the case. Please check your result states as suggested above in the interface controller's code and also make sure that all the callable objects, actions, blocks and the process is updated as well as activated.

Actually my problem is the refersh message is coming after action complete in GP.

Even after action complete the process moving correctly to the next level.

But I am getting the Refersh Button.

This is started after patch apply on Portal.

currently I can see patch 17 on portal.

Kindly help me in this regard how I can resolve this issue.

Hi Abhishek,

This message is displayed if backend is taking time to process.

In my GP process too, i get this message sometimes.

But when I click on "Refresh" button appearing in message, the activity gets processed.

Do you still get same error after clicking "refresh" ?

Hi Abhi,

I think your 2nd action is assigned to some other person other than the one who is completing the first action

So it will display The next activity is not yet available: try again later using the "Refresh".
