Dear Gurus,

I ran "Check database" in DB13 but I got error "ORA-01031: insufficient privileges"

Note I try to execute sapdba_role.sql (with command "sqlplus /nolog @sapdba_role.sql SR3") as Note 134592 both login 'oradev' and 'devadm' but it seem to do nothing (not found sapdba_role.log)

Hi, are you see (download) the file sapdba_role.sql, give 777 and ownership for oradev user , relogin and locate to directory where this scripte are, and execute same comand, you will see log after ....

Hi Sergo,

I ran 'chmod 777 sapdba_role.sql' and logout & login both <sid>adm and ora<sid>.

and ran 'sqlplus /nolog @sapdba_role.sql SR3' but it still can't see sapdba_role.log.

Any recommend?

are you able to execute under oradev user -->

sqlplus /nolog

connect /as sysdba ?

Hi,

It solved after change permission of directory that sapdba_role.sql kept to oradev:dba after that it can write sapdba_role.log.

Thank you for your guideline.

Now, I can ran 'Check database' via DB13 without that error.
