Hello Experts while starting SAP IDES 6.0 installation I am getting following error, I am using Windows server 2003 SR2 with SQLserver 2005

Errortext: ESAPinstException: error text undefined Message stack: 103 syslib.filesystem.errorSettingTimeStamp C:/Program Files/sapinst_instdir/ERP/SYSTEM/MSS/CENTRAL/AS/toplevel.xml, 816 Please inform the installation development, execution will be terminated now.

Hi,

If it does not work with increasing virtual memory, then try to upgrade your Java Version to 19.

The installation dump was corrupted.

after recopying dump it was executed without error.

Hi Rupesh,

load resource pool E:\ECC 6.0 IDES\Master\installationmaster_ides\IM_WINDOWS_I386\resourcepool.xml

Remove the spaces and use underscore( _ ) if you want from the directory names.

For example, use "E:\ECC60_IDES" instead of "E:\ECC 6.0 IDES"

Also make sure that you have set "JAVA_HOME" environment variable in "system Properties.

Then try again...

I am following regular process still I am getting this error.

I tried with removing spaces but still I am getting same error!

Hi,

What is your hardware details ?

and which java version you are using ?

How much RAM do you have ?

How much Pagefile you have configured ?

It is also possible that installation dump is corrupted, please try to copy the installation media once again and see the result...

I am Installing it On Sony Laptop

HDD - 300GB

RAM- 4GB

CPU - C2D

OS - 2k3 sr2

SQL - 2005 sr1

Java - j2sdk1.4.2_09

Dump is working on another system. still I will try with fresh dump.

Configure pagefile (Vertual Memory) at least 20GB.

Then try...

May be it is a problem of virutal memory...
