Maintained SD Number Ranges

Hi,

How to maintained SD Number Ranges.

If transaction is VN01, then can we maintained number ranges yearly. But i don't think so, because in VN01, number ranges defined as per Number range Type.

According to Number range Type, we have to maintained the number ranges by OVER-RIGHT.

Plz guide..

It can be achieved through USER EXIT.

I am not sure I understand what you are trying to achieve.

VN01 is the Tcode you might use, unless you have another requirement.

please explain more.

simply we have to maintain the SD number ranges.

Hi

in Tcode VN01, click on change interval and see which number range you want to change

example

Nr from to

01 0000000001 0199999999

you can change

01 5000000001 5999999999

you need to ensure that no documents have been created if you want to change the From and To fields, you cna see this in the field Current Number.

If you want to create you Nr range from scratch, click Insert Intervan (shift F1) an create the Nr, From and To fields.

Then you need to go to the document types, and change the assignment to number range.
