Hi all

We are heading towards a decision to use the above to fill in APO specific fields that do not come from R/3. What I think is that this coding should fill in certain inbound structures or internal tables.

A) Could somebody explain to me whether I am thinking right and the technical concept as to how this works?

B) Is there any useful documentation or notes on this subject?

Hi

we have a similar functionality implemented in our project where we maintain location specific default values in a table and while CIFfing these values are picked by the exit and populated in the product master.

You can refer to note 520561 which gives some functional and technical doucmentation on how you can achieve the requisite functionality.
