Hi

Are you using BI query? If yes, right click on the query & go to define test query option. For each characteristic you will see 3 options - Text,Key & Ext Key. You just check Key or Ext Key. Ext Key will show you the required result for the same field. Make sure you have set display properties in the query as 'Key & Text'.
