Hi,

I finish to install a Solution Manager and Im having some issues with the license... When I try to access the system with another user the system present this error:

'logon not posile error in license check'

When I see this error I go to SLICENSE to delete it and I see that I can't delete the license with the user SAP.. but the funny thing is if I can't access the system with a normal user to delete the license and I can't delete it with SAP how can I delete the license??

I try to do diferent things to resolve the issue but is not working...:

1) I go to transaction SE14 and try to adjust and recreate the table SAPLIKEY to see if in this way I delete the license... but I see that the table is empty so this is not very helpfully.

2) I Try to delete the license in OS and when I put saplicense -delete the system request me the SYSTEM ID, HARDWARE KEY but I don't know what I need to put when request me the PRODUCTID...

Any help is appreciated to resolve this issue!!

Thanks people!!

Hi!

Thanks for your help!!

I check the OSS note and the system have applied the note..

I try to delete it in the OS but I don't know what to put in PRODUCTID..

Example::

smdadm> saplicense -delete

Specify your SAP System ID:

SAP SYSTEM ID = SMD

Specify your hardware key:

HARDWARE KEY = S1287128133

Specify the product ID

PRODUCTID = What I need to put here???? or where I can find the PRODUCTID that I need to put?

Thanks!

Try NetWeaver_ORA

If you are on Oracle.

if you use command saplicense -show you'll see the product ID

After you finished installing the instance you 'll get the temp license.

In your case you might get this error,if your rdisp/mssserv_internal and rslg/collect_daemon/listen_port may listening to the same port.

Check your default profile for these two parameters.

If the two parameters are listening to 3900, then switch rslg/collect_daemon/listen_port value to 14<sysnr>.

Let us know if it get resolved.

You can delete and install the new license directly from OS level.

One thing that you can try from SLICENSE is hit the "New License" tab and then from the EDIT -> Delete License.

The second option would be to use following command from OS

saplikey pf=SID_xxx -help and then

saplikey pf=SID_xxx -delete <SID> <HW Key> <product>

you can get that information from your license.

[Note 1227762 - saplikey replaces saplicense as of Release 7.00|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap%28bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==%29/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1227762]

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

I had the same problem a few days ago,

and a SAP notes search provided:

Note 917936 - License keys cannot be deleted by user SAP*
