Unable to forward work item

Hi

For one Shopping Cart, first level approval is completed and not gone to second level approver.

Checked the approval flow and tried to forward the workitem to the second level manager. But i am unable to forward it, as it is showing message as 'Workitem No : Forwarding not allowed in status COMPLETED.

how can i resolve this ?

Please advise.

Well, the answer is related to the Service Packs installed to the SAP SRM space.

Recently there was a service pack installed to the SAP systems .....18 which actually brought in the bug along with it. SAP has corrected that bug in service pack ....19, However as we were not ready for service pack ....19 I could trace out a OSS note that helped me fix this problem.

The Escalation and Forwarding issue is now resolved.

Hi MS,

probably the task for that WF has 'Forwarding not Allowed' as agent assignment.

How did you try to forward the workitem? Which transaction are you using?

You might have picked the wrong workitem.

Hi,

The case is not very clear - though could be many reasons...let us zero down to the issue.

- Have you checked what is the overall status of the workflow instance? In Process or Completed.

- Are you forwarding the second approval workitem? or mistakenly looking at the first approval workitem?
