Where class & char can be used IN QM.Can u provide examples

Hi

Class Characteristics can be used in integration with MIC.

MIC & class characteristic has a relationship of 1:1.

The results of inspection lot can be transferred from MIC to Batch in class characteristics also

Hi,

IN this concepet you can more useful process industry where batch manged material .

Once u use this concepet u can see result in batch .

Masters

CT04 cretae class charectristic.

Cl02 u can create class in class type say for Ex 023

In same class that u have created u can assign same class charecteristic .

Same class charecteristic you need to assign in MIC QS23 .

In material master MM02 in Addtional data --maintain praportion data tab again u need to assign this class charecteristic.

Once u do all this thing .

Finally when u take result record & UD.

Charecteristic value get updated in BATCH.. In MSC2N u can see same result in classification view.

class char mainly used when you want to transfer the results form RR to batch or it may be used in case when you want to to do RR with reference to char dyanamically in inspection plan.

class char are also used in case when you re using configuration in QM

I am not able understand
