Hello,

i tried to size a system with the link http://service.sap.com/quicksizing - but there is the idm as software

not available!

Here in the sdn i found this document -

but there are also no hardware requirements avaliable

where can in find the hardware requirements for a IDM system?

my question is solved now - sap released a new sizing quide today:

Sizing Guide for IDM 7.1 Available New!

This new document provides guidelines for determining an initial sizing configuration for SAP NetWeaver IDM 7.1. Furthermore, minimum hardware requirements for the production landscape are given. (SMP login required)

How many users, systems in total?

How many will use IDM?

Do you want the UI on a Java instance you already have or you want an own instance?

3600 user

How many will use IDM:

20 admin user (ad,exchange,telephonie,sap hcm, sap portal, sap erp)

Do you want the UI on a Java instance you already have or you want an own instance:

we will use the portal as ui java insance (already in use)
