Hi All
My clients requirement is that "customer order XXXXX, Line 160 material YYY had a GI date 3/28 after the credit approval which happened on 03/29. We had available stock on hand, so the order should have been rescheduled two times since, but actually it did not.
We had to run an ATP check in the sales order on the material manually to have correct dates on the customer order, and now the delivery has created automatically and correctly.
Can you please check why this material was excluded from the resceduling, or what was the reason it did not reschedule automatically by the night batch?"
What could be the reason
Regards
Ansuman
Hi,
If you should automatically fix the date and quantity of the delivery date, then the
resultant material availability date will be set. Should you select this indicator, the delivery
dates are fixed in MRP. However, should you not select fixed date and quantity and you
are able to speed up the supply of the materials into your plant, the resultant material
availability date is more favorable and you may reschedule the dates in order for the
customer to obtain a more favorable ATP date and thus delivery date.
The availability check rule is a rule defining what the result of the availability check in
the sales order should be. This could take the form of a dialog box where the user is able to
select either a delivery proposal or complete delivery. Or it could take the form of the system
automatically selecting either delivery proposal, one time delivery, or complete delivery,
without a dialog box being shown.

Hope this helps.
