Messages need to change status from 29 to 3 in table SXMSPHIST..!!

Hi,

There are around 3,330,000 entries which are in 29 status (Transfer to Process Engine) in SXMSPHIST table.

I am unable to delete these messages with normal deletion jobs.

I heard that to delete these status messages, we need to run BPE reorganisation, so that the state of the messages will change from 029 to 003. Then the messages are allowed to be deleted.

If it is true, can someone please suggest me what are the jobs I need to run to change the status from 29 to 3?

We need to run unused messages job which will change the status from 29 to 3. After reorganisation the messages,the normal deletion jobs will delete the entries from the table.

Dear deepthi,

you need to perform a reorganization of the Business Process Engine according to SAP Note 1042379 (which is also mentioned in 872388, section 5 -> k).
