We are looking for some sort of answer to the following question.
1. Is there a measurement of the amount of interfaces (number of calls, size of messages per some timeframe) that we should be able to handle in the server which has 16GB Mem and 8 CPU?
2. Is there a material difference in the amount of resources consumed/needed for web service calls to ECCu2019s SOAP run-time versus direct RFC calls or IDOCs via ALE?
Vijay,
Check the Java heap size when message is processing,
>handle in the server which has 16GB Mem and 8 CPU?
I have tried passing more than 100 MB file, which has cross reference

It is depends upon your business requirement, We can use RFC for Sync, To trigger BAPI etc, IDOC to post the Std IDOC Asyn process, ALE to post the master data ..like that each has it's own advantage
