Remote access to HTTP via saprouter

We want SAP Remote access to Enterprise portal via HTTP. What are prerequisites?

SAP answered :

/H/sapserv1a.wdf.sap.corp./S/3295/H/193.71.150.78/S/P/QnIKoiIHWE/H/192.168.21.128/S/3299/H/sapeff.ku.norikom.tu/S/50001

What has to be accomplished to avoid that error. Which ports should be opened to 192.168.21.128 and sapeff.ku.norikom.tu.

I assume 50001 or?

I am trying to reach usefull info anywhere. Thank you in advance

The goual is SAP(Waldorf) achieves http:
sapeff.ku.norikom.tu:50001

Of course http:
sapeff.ku.norikom.tu:50001is achievable from our network.

The error SAP(Waldorf) gets is :

"DESTINATION: /H/sapserv1a.wdf.sap.corp./S/3295/H/193.71.150.78/S/P/QnIKoiIHWE/H/192.168.21.128/S/3299/H/sapeff.ku.norikom.tu/S/50001

DESTINATION PORT:3299

LOCATION:Saprouter (Using third part library) on sapserv1

I'd say sapserv1 is not able to reach 193.71.150.78 (is most likely your saprouter) on port 3295.

Jan,

In my experience, saprouter doesn't give access to a portal. I've set up access using either with SAP WebDispatcher, apache, or pound. Pound is fairly easy to configure (on a linux system) and will function for multiple servers.

Kind Regards,

Zach

Sorry to disagree, but that is not only supported but it's required to give SAP support access to the system:

Hi,

I think the ambiguity comes from the fact that the use of saprouter for HTTP is only possible for SAP support.

Some people think that it could be possible to use a saprouter as a kind of http reverse proxy but of course it's not.

Hi,

>How about port forwarding instead then

Interesting, Thank you. I did not know this usage and did not know it was possible.

I'll keep the link for future reference.

Hi Darryl,

The link http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmobile71/helpdata/en/46/d37f01e5343c1de10000000a155369/content.htm took me to a "Blank Page".

Do you know the title of the article in the help that you are refering to?

Thanks,

Judith

Hi Judith,

Since you replied over two years ago you probably aren't expecting an answer, however for anyone else who stumbles across this I believe the article title is likely to be "SAProuter as Port Forwarder" and can (at the time of posting) be found here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/46/d37f01e5343c1de10000000a155369/content.htm.

From the outside? From SAP?

Please tell us what your goal is: you want to enable remote access from SAP to your internal network?
