Our Client is currently using Agile PLM and they export BOM's and attachments as PDX files from it. Now we have the requirement to map Agile Processes in SAP.
We will be using ECM, BOM and Material Master in R 3 to provide the functionalities. But the requirement of extracting BOM's as PDX files is not possible in R3.
We try to bring in cFolders 4.5 only for this.
We are suggesting to export BOM's , ECN's and linked attachments to cFolders and from there to extract as PDX files. Now to establish this can someone confirm
- whether it is mandatory to set up WebDAV?
-we may set up a content server to store the Documents of cFolders. Does WebDAV has any impact or link with this?
- if we set up WebDAV , make changes in attributes file and use CFX_BI_EXPORT or any other BADI's - would the export of BOM, ECN's would be smooth??..Has someone explored this option?
- any other step is required to achieve the above solution in italics
Any suggestions?
