2 files (header and detail) ==> IDOC

Hello everybody.

I was searching, but I do not know how to do this multi mapping. The client do not want BPM's.

I need to map from 2 files (FTP) into 1 IDOC, how can I do it?

Thank you very much.

Hi,

if you are using a PI version 7.1 then there is an option to read the attachment in the mapping itself and can be used in the forming of IDoc...

Hi all.

I think you are saying in the Mapping, under the Functions Tab. Inside "Archives Used"?

But I do not understand how it'll work, because it's not from the place I need it, because the file is in FTP Server.

I'm still searching, thank you to all of you.

In sender channel you specify the attachment in Additional Files, then read this attachment in Mapping and map to target IDoc.

thanks,

hi,

>>>I need to map from 2 files (FTP) into 1 IDOC, how can I do it?

this one is easy without a BPM

make sure your file adapter polls the file and the second file as an attachment (file adapter can do that)

then in the mapping do the attachment lookup (from 7.1) and map both file to one IDOC

no easier way
