How to Get IP Address

i have the systme name but i dont have the IP Addres of the systme. when i starting building my first application. fellowing the link

so fellow all the step and give the system name in place of IP addres, but it is not connecting and given error of the system is not recognize, can any body help me how i can move forward.

Hi!

Just run Start->Run: cmd (Windows Command Line)

Then write " ping [hostname] " in command line.

It will do a ping command to [hostname] and you will see the IP address of that name too.
