Hi,

You do not want pool sample In sampling drawing procedure do not put any thing in pool sample tab in just maintain primary sample data in sampling drawing procedure. Then system will allow you take result of physical samples.

Hello Sanil,

I have maintened P2 formula in primary sample i.e no. of container=primary sample & in pooled sample maintened fix 1 sample so if i do GR for two container then system create 2 primary & 1 pooled sample when i go to result recording system always ask for only pooled sample? what is reason?

Hi,

Okay then remove Fix sample 1 from pool sample tab

You have mention in pool sample fix 1 so system asking you for pool sample.

Better dont maintain any fix sample 1 ( keep their blank ) in pool sample tab .

Check & revert me back.

Hi,

Yes whenever you choose both ststem will prapose you pool sample.

So it is better you want result record of physical sample then do not put any thing in pool sample tab..

I do not thing you can record both primary or pool ( I am in process industry functionally also we are doing same in my domain either primary or pool

You need to understand concept of Pooled sample and primary sample first.

o Primary samples (1st stage)

Physical samples drawn directly from a material or batch that will be inspected or used to create pooled samples.

o Pooled samples (2nd stage)

Physical samples to be created by mixing the contents of two or more primary samples from the same material or batch.

If you create Primary Sample then you need to inspect Primary sample only.

If you create Primary and pooled samples you need to inspect Pooled samples only.
