Quotation quantity

Hi,

We created one quotation with 100 quantity.

after we create sales order with ref. to that. in my sales order if i enter 105 quantity syatem is still allowing

to save that order it gives only yellow message that quotation quantity is 100 and order quantity is 105.

my requirement is system should not allow to create sales order is if it exceds quotation quantity.

i tried to check that message number also but i didnt get anything.

how to restrict this? give me some solutions

Hi,

Please maintain following things.

1. Check the copy controls VTAA - item level for quotation item category -update document flow has been activated with X or not.

2. Check quotation item category controls completion rule is maintained ' B' or not.

In the VOV7 (Item Category Determination) try enter the Completion Rule as B.
