SAP Installation Error

Hi All,

I got error while doing SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 installation.

error occured in Phase 4 "Create users for SAP System".

Creating account <SID>\SAPService<SID> for System <SID>.

Error log is below.

How ro resolvw this issue ?

Be aware of the fact that with Windows 2008 local installations are not supported, you have to make a domain installation.

in this case, you have to make sure you have the domain administrator privillage to continue the installation. Or else get the Domain administrator to create all the users with privillage required in domain. you can check for all this users in installation guide.

FCO-00011 The step createAccounts with step key |NW_Addin_SCS|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Users_Create_Do|ind|ind|ind|ind|3|0|createAccounts was executed with status ERROR .

Solution:

1. Stop the ABAP stack as described in the installation guide (Additional Information -> Starting and Stopping the SAP System).

2. Open a command prompt and execute the command '/usr/sbin/usermod'.

3. Continue with the installation.

Check SAP : Note 1300536 - Inst.NetWeaver 7.0 EHP1 SR1/Business Suite 7 SR1-UNIX

and search for MUT-03025.

In case above solution does not fit to your OS and DB version, check installation SAP notes, this is known error, you will easily get the solution in intallation notes.

Hi Ashis,

I am doing new installation.

windows server 2008 x64

Oracle 10

SAP ERP 6.0 SR3

jsdk1.4.2_25be

After these installed, i started sapinst and selected cetral instance

in the 4th phase i got error.

now can you clarify where i did the mistake.

createAccounts was executed with status ERROR .

It's not able to create SAPService<SID> user account, might be the user id by which you are performing the installation don't have privileges to create any user account. Use administrator user id to perform the installation which have full privileges.
