Individual Notice Period Regulation - 4 to 6 months prior termination date

Hi

I'm trying to define the Notice periods as below but to no avail.

Shall I have any suggestions as to how this can be achieved please...

=> Contract Start Date: 01/01/2010

=> Earliest termination date(contractee): 01/31/2013

=> Notice can only be sent between 4 to 6 months prior from earliest termination date.

Target simulation should look like this...

Recd From Receipt To Calcul. Notice

07/31/2012 09/30/2012 01/31/2013

08/01/2012 10/01/2012 02/01/2013

08/02/2012 10/02/2012 02/02/2013

08/03/2012 10/03/2012 02/03/2013

08/04/2012 10/04/2012 02/04/2013

And so forth And so forth And so forth

I have tried with all combinations in Expert Mode as well but of no avail.

Date Format: mm/dd/yy

Hi,

first of all I am afraid that it is not possible to define overlapping periods for Receipt From an Receipt To.

I am also not quite sure how the system should determine the right notice date when for example the notice is received

on 08/01/2012.

Should the notice date then be 01/31/2013 or 02/01/2013?

I have set up an example and got the folloowing dates:

04.10.2012 04.10.2012 04.02.2013

...

settings for individual period regulation:

Notice period: no restrictions

period : 4 months

consider minimum term: X

Earliest Notice on: 31.01.2013

It is not possible to define a "Receipt from"-date that is later than contract start (for the first entry). And it is also not possible to have intervals that overlap.

Hi Franz

Unfortunately, the example what you suggested was the first test I did but to no avail.

The requirement is to know the Periods on each day by day Notice Period

viz...

Period within which notice has to be given when planned to terminate on 01/31/2013

Period within which notice has to be given when planned to terminate on 02/01/2013

Period within which notice has to be given when planned to terminate on 02/02/2013

Period within which notice has to be given when planned to terminate on 02/03/2013

etc

As you already stated that overlapping periods not possible for Receipt From an Receipt To, I have no questions further.
