How to active WMS in SAP?

Dear Experts,

People always said 'Active WMS module' in SAP...Is there any button or SPRO configuration actions on this, so that could confirm the WMS is actived in SAP??

Hi,

I hope u r talking about Warehouse Management activation...If yes the ther is no specific button for activation...

All u need to do is..in SPRO-IMG-Enterprise Structure-Logistics Execution-Define, copy, delete, check warehouse number..here u need to define ur WM..and

assign it to the combination of plant-Sloc-Warehouse no. in IMG-Enterprise Structure-Assignment-Logistics Execution-Assign warehouse number to plant/storage location.

And in Material master maintain the view WM1 & WM2...this will enable ur WMS...

Also check further config settings..in IMG-Logistics Execution-Warehouse Management...

Hi Hoo,

After setting up activation on Lean WM many times you will get error message Table 301 or 333T is missing. that means while creating your warehouse it is missing.

So in such circumstances, SAP recommend to copy warehouse number 100 which is lean warehouse.

Follow this path

Enterprise Structure>Definition>Logistics Execution>Defin, copy, delete check warehouse number>in th screen goto Org Object at the top>Copy Organizational Object>From warehouse number_____100 -->To put your warehouse number

Prior to this always check warehouse 100 is ok. For this goto Organizational Object-->Check 100

If it is not saying anything missing then & then only you copy.

Hope this tip would be very much useful as SD consultantn is not expert on Lean WM and he find difficult to resolve WM issues

Hello Further you goto same path Shipping->Picking>Lean WM>At the bottom Control plant StorageLocation/Warehouse No. Assignment

Here you put yr Plant NumberStorage LocationWarehouse number--put no. 1 Degree of Activation + Put 005 Storage Type for Picking in

So now it will Accept Otherwise if you do not activate that small check box in Shipping->Picking->Lean WM->Define Control Paranmeter--> At bottom Check box

You will not be able to activate. So hope this will solve yr problem.

I have also learn after 3/4 days of work.

Hello,

Many SAP WM consultant are not aware exactly how to Activate Lean Warehouse.

Please follow the path Shipping>Lean Warehouse Management>Define Control Parameters & Number Range>Double Click your Warehouse number>At the bottome is Control Datamanagement-->Check box Lean WM Active

Your question is really difficult but not after doing this
