Hi,
Does SAP TAO 2.0 support automation of Business Process on SRM, CRM, Portal or non-SAPGUI based applications?
Thanks,
Veera

Veera - what do you mean by support? you want to use SAP TAO to automate Portal applications i.e. recording?
As for as I know using SAP TAO you automate /record any SAP GUI transactions (any module in your words) not portal related or any of non- SAP using SAP TAO functionality even if it is a latest version of SAP TAO 2.0. SP4.
Portal scenarios can be recorded or automate only using QTP SAP Web add-ins not with SAP TAO this is where you will create your own components. For this you need to create your own application area SAP_Web in QTP.
May be it will be helpful for you - Ex: you will record a login (portal) functionality using QTP with SAP Web add-in then if you want to utilize of BPT then in the script level you use parameters then you will come to BPT and insert the same values and you can pass that values from the global data sheet ..it's just an example of how to use with BPT with QTP & you know every one approach is diff. but keep in mind when ever we record it should be always re-usability not for just recording.
Good luck.
Thanks,
Ram

Hi,
Adding to RAM, SAP TAO latest version is SAP TAO 2.0 SP05 and it does not support web portals.
SAP TAO will only support GUI based application as of now. In future SAP might come with solutions to handle SAP portal using SAP TAO.
Currently you can create you own customised components to handle the portals.
Thanks!

Yes, Started supporting SAP Web and portal applications. But still it need to enhance a lot. Hope coming versions will support completely.
Regarding non-sap, some functions has been added like close, capture non-sap_screens.
