Consolidation system

Dear Sirs,

I must admit that I have a hard time grasping the full meaning of the consolidation system. Is this a actual runtime server, so we will have to have four JAVA WAS in order to have a full JDI landscape.

In the thread; , it is concluded that there is no need for a seperat consolidation runtime. If we do not use a seperate consolidation server, is it normal to let it receide together with the test server. And will there be any consequence of not using a separate server?

Any help / practical experiences on this issue would be highly appriciated.

Best regards,

Jørgen

Hi Jorgen,

you may also find some additional information in the following Weblog: .

The Consolidaton system is always present in a track as a source location, but it doesn't need to have a runtime system.

Günter

Hello,

It is not mandatory to have a runtime system associated with Consolidation phase.

In order to understand the role of CONS phase i request you to go thru weblog from Manohar.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Sidharth
