How to backup and recover JAVA INSTANCE

Hi Gurus, Please tell me how to backup and recover java instance. There a lot of files need to be back up for it. i am not sure which file. Can i just back up the Entire USR folder for it. How do i recover the java instance. can i just replace the file or recover using sapinst. please guide me through step by step. thanks.

Hi Ram,

it is very simple

If u want to take back up of only java one instance go to the following directory and make zip file

usr\sap\EP7\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server0

if u want to take all the cluster got the following directory

usr\sap\EP7\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\

for recovery u can unzip in the same directory where u took the back up
