Delivery inspection

Hi experts,

Please give the details of the settings, and all transaction codes needed for inspection during delivery. Is inspection at delivery done in all type of industries.

Hi Sujit,

Thanks.Once delivery is created by VL01n, are the inspection lots created in QA32.

Is there something like confirmation/ release required in the delivery screen just like sales order/ production order release.

Hi,

Check your lot status if it is CRTD ( Created ) then you need to relesed it.

you can do it in Change inspection lot.( QA02 ) in inspectioc spec tab you nedd to assign inspection plan as per usage, In same screen choose usage by which you have created inspection plan.

Then save transaction & refresh it .Then only you can able to take result record & UD .

Dear Shanmugam,

No not needed, once you try to save the delivery document the system will give error (stock is in quality). You have to save the document with error only and then go to QA32 clear the inspection lot (if it is CRTD then make quality plan and release it), once you post the quantity to unrestricted the system will allow you to save that delivery, the error will not be popped up.

it depends upon the type of requirement you have.You have to activate either 02,10,11 or 12 inspection type for the same.After sales order ,while creating outbound delivery ,while picking inspection lot will be created in the background.

T codes are VA01>vl01n->qa32--->make UD
