Dear all,
I want to install IDES SAP ECC 6.0 SR2, does the portal functionality already come with it? I specifically need to practice with HR self service.

If you install IDES SAP ECC 6.0 with ABAP + JAVA stack , then portal functionality will come. If you want to include HR self service, then you need deploy corresponding business package SCA file in the server.

Let me ask you one last question before closing the thread, those SCA packages you told me are included in the IDES ?
I don't think SCA file for HR self service will be included in the IDES by default.
You need to download the SCA file from service market place and then need to depoy on the server.
