Need help----wrong country output

Hi Friends,

Need Help in invoice output ?

Please find below my testing result as I wanted to find why country "IRELAND" out is coming as "IRLAND" in invoice output even when I am using output language English.

My test below is done both in EN and DE logon language, but still output is coming as IRLAND.As follows;

logon output language customer country customer language print output

en de Ireland DE IRLAND

en EN Ireland DE IRLAND

logon output language customer country customer language print output

en de Ireland EN IRLAND

en EN Ireland EN IRLAND

logon output language customer country customer language print output

DE de Ireland EN IRLAND

DE EN Ireland EN IRLAND

Please anybody can suggest if I am missing something and how to resolve this.

Chnage the country spellng in OY01.

Country code - IE.

Hi RD,

I have one basic question, In SPRO where we define the countries, Is the spelling of country Ireland is correct. Please confirm.

SPRO -> SAP Reference IMG - > SAP Netweaver - > General Settings - > Set Countries -> Define Countries

In SPRO......spelling is perfect as IRELAND.

Pls suggest anything else I need to do OR check.

Hi RD,

Please check once again the Country TEXT, if it is right then check are you using any std. program for printing the invoice.

Please ask your ABAPer to check the logic.

Hi MT,

I have checked again OY01 and all seems to be correct. I have also checked in table T005T....and there also country IE, IRELAND is maintained in English.

I guess I dont know anywhere else to check further.

Hi RD, how are you?

Maybe your error are caused for the printer program, when the program searches the text for the country 'IE', is entering with the code 'DE' in language.

In the table T005T ( table of country and texts ), the field LANDX and LANDX50, for the languaje DE is "IRLAND".

Change this value in this table for "IRELAND" in languaje 'DE', (transaction OY01) and do the test again, if the program shows IRELAND, you must change the code in order to solve this problem.

Dear RD,

If you see the OY01 screen, under Properties Tab there is a Feild for Trde stat. short Name - IRLAND. (Field Name - LKVRZ / ). While the Name under General Data is IRELAND (Feild Name - LANDX)

It seems that in your output program the ABAPer picked the Country Name from LKVRZ Feild.

Just ask him the pick the country name from LANDX Feild.

I am sure your problem will get solved.
